Introduction
The School of Space Research at Kyung Hee University is a graduate department founded after its "Lunar Orbiter Space Exploration Research" proposal was selected for the Korean government's World Class University (WCU) program. The school is dedicated to fostering experts and conducting research to advance Korea's space exploration initiatives.
Leveraging the WCU and Brain Korea 21 Plus (BK21+) programs, the school recruits distinguished international scholars and collaborates with domestic universities to vitalize research in space exploration and create new engines for growth.
Through diverse projects, the school conducts research in astronomy, the solar and space environment, and lunar and planetary exploration. It offers both undergraduate and graduate courses in theory, observation, and payload development.
